There is a limit of 35 carvers, not including the Specialty/Display category.

WAIVER

I WILL NOT HOLD THE CITY OF CAMPBELL RIVER; CAMPBELL RIVER SHORELINE ARTS SOCIETY; SPONSORS; VOLUNTEERS; OR ANY OF THE MEMBERSHIP LIABLE FOR PERSONAL INJURY OR LOSS OF TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT AT OR DURING THE COMPETITIONS.

This year, we will be having a one-hour "Quick Carve" on Friday, June 26, 2009 at 1:00 p.m.   The completed "Quick Carve" carvings will be auctioned the following day.  The net proceeds (after any auctioneer's fees) will be split equally between CRSAS and the carver.  The carvers recognize that this is an optional event and that participation in it will impact on the time they have available to complete their carving for the competition.

I WILL/WILL NOT PARTICIPATE IN THE "QUICK CARVE".  (please circle one)

Choice of logs depends on when you get your official entry in.  You will receive a number based on when your entry is received and logs will be chosen in order.

TRANSPORTATION EXPENSES:
♦  Out-of-town carvers will be reimbursed at least 25% of travel expenses      (meals excluded), upon submission of receipts to Entry Coordinator      (subject to a maximum of $500).

ACCOMMODATION:
♦  (Very important) - Once you have been notified of your motel/hotel, it is      imperative that you contact them immediately with your exact date of      arrival and whether you wish Smoking or Non/Smoking.

FAILURE TO DO SO MAY RESULT IN LOSS OF YOUR RESERVATION!

CHANGE OF ADDRESS:
