Stan Skuse

Stan Skuse of Campbell River entered this years contest with no prior experience in wood carving and left a favorable impression as a new carver.  A logger by profession, chainsaws are a common tool, but to create something with it was a new experience. Stan carved what he knows best and his pair of arms ready to arm wrestle depicts his favorite passion. Currently a competitive arm wrestler, Stan is used to wrestling against another person but his endeavor with a log was his challenge to be remembered.
