Here's a little info on Glenn Greensides
(a professional competitor in the 1997 event)




Sea Serpent by Glen
Glenn Greensides, currently resides in Squamish British Columbia. Among his many accomplishments are a major project undertaken on Grouse Mountain called “Tribute to the Forest” consisting of 30 piece of which over 21 are completed so far.
His entry in this year's competition won first prize in the Pro division of the competition. This piece of artwork is being displayed at Frank James Park for all to see.

At Campbell River Lodge At Campbell River Lodge

Glenn has left his mark in Campbell River previously when he did his first large carving for the Campbell River Lodge. You can view his work outside the lodge as well as some smaller pieces inside the resort.

Glenn does have an outstanding contract with a resort in Japan called the LISTEL RESORT. Once a year he goes to this resort to carve the upcoming asian zodiac character for the upcoming year. So if you visit Japan you can view his work there also.

Glenn's plans for the future include moving back to this area once he finishes his current commitments.
