In Remembrance of Loved Ones Lost
To The Matsunaga Hiquebran Families

Each day as we look out
Upon the ocean shore
We will always be reminded
Of the tragic loss of four

Generous in their nature
Quiet in their ways
They shall be remembered
As long as there are days

They will be in our thoughts
With each new fishing season
Those who knew and loved them
Still wondering for some reason

On the day we said goodbye
To four of our town's pride
The people of the river
Stood together and cried

Those whose lives you touched
We were truly blessed
You worked so very hard
Now we wish you rest.

- Steve Ordano

The three Ordanos carve as a family - grandpa (Gary), son (Steve) and grandson (Dayton).  They were inspired to try carving after seeing so many carvings destroyed and wanted someone to send a clear message to the vandals - in 2004 the idea for Carver's Curse was born.
