Amateur Category

Gord began chainsaw carving in 2003 and has competed in Campbell River three times. As a passionate chainsaw carver, he tries to find time to carve every weekend. He has also competed in Masset, Quesnel, Vanderhoof and Chetwynd. The camaraderie he experiences at the Shoreline Arts' competition brings him joy and he is looking forward to seeing the rest of the carvers again next year. For his "Evolution of Flight", Gord received 1st place and a $700 award.

You can find this carving at BC Air (on the spit).
