Professional Category Carving has been one of Dan's most challenging arts. He has created some masterpieces, as well as painting wall murals on buildings. Many of the murals are here in Campbell River as well as around the world. Dan Richey hails from Nanaimo and has always won a placing for his carvings.
Dan's "Spirit Dance" received 3rd place and a prize award of $1200. You can currently view this carving at Willow Point Rentals (Erickson Road).
