Colin hails from Thornton, Ontario and has carved
in this competition since 2002. In fact he always officially
registers for next year within a month of the end of this year's
event. Colin is retired R.C.M.P. and specialized in large tree
spirits. As he checks out his log he waits for revelation of
the spirit dwelling within. He coaxes this spirit with hammer
and chisel to reveal it's whimsical face. So stop by to visit
Colin. He loves to meet people and would be pleased to explain
the significance of his tree spirits in more detail. Colin competed
