Sandi Cleaver has entered the competition in past
years as a First Knives Club driftwood member,
but this year she graduated to the larger chainsaw category.
Warren Little, a veteran of the competition tutored her and her
helper Susan Nowek before the competition (neither are shown
here), and pro carver Glenn Greensides (top right) gave her a
few tips during the competition. The payoff? A hundred dollar
smile. Sandi's hard work and determination earned her 5th place
prize money in the novice category.
