A team entry from Discovery Community College, calling themselves
the Discovery Debarkers, garnered third place for
their imaginative "Cabin in the Woods." Although
officially the team was comprised of 10 members, all students
in the College's log post and beam home-building program, Jeremy
Walker (far right) and Allwyn Stewart (second from right) were
up every morning with the sparrow's fart figuring out how to
bring another dimension to their 2D sketch. Assisting them were
teammates Duncan Devlin (left) and Scott Gordon. Competition
president Jack Minshull is the guy in the middle. |
